For the past 11 years, Mr. King has served as the Program Manager and Senior Technical Staff consultant to the government contractor supporting The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). During his tenure at HUD, Mr. King has served in several roles, including network design specialist, project engineer, COOP project manager, and server operations lead.
Mr. King has over 36 years of experience in the information technology sector. Prior to joining the company, he held several positions in Lockheed Martin/GE Aerospace spanning the development and integration of ground systems for NASA, RF operations, facilities architect for the design and distribution of communications infrastructure, network engineering manager, systems architect, operations manager, technical lead for a multi-million dollar network acquisition, and R&D manager for the Intelligence community. As a result of many of his efforts, Mr. King has received several top awards from GE Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, and the U.S. Government intelligence community.
Mr. King has received training and certifications from many industry leaders such as Cisco, 3COM, Juniper, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, NetApp, EMC, ITIL, and PMP. He attended the University of Maryland prior to receiving additional training in aviation electronics and flight simulators in the U.S. Navy.
