The Data Integration Platform Suite

Alqimi’s predictive intelligence portal and analysis tools using targeted collection capabilities

The DIP Suite

A collection of 8 portal configuration wigets allow portal administrators to create and publish views, forms and content; and to perform data integration tasks.  The DIP Suite works in conjunction with Alqimi's powerful data collection and integration tools to allow users to rapidly create and deploy critical information in accessible ways.

Social Intelligence Framework

The DIP Suite sets a new standard for portal data integration and allows you to deploy data to your users in minutes. The process of deploying rich self-service reports enabled for filtering, mapping, charts, gauges, etc. takes only three simple steps:

  • Connect
  • Configure
  • Deploy

The DIP Suite

Multiple DIPs can be placed on a portal page to provide modular interface capabilities not available with other products.

Alqimi Forms Integration Toolkit (FIT) module — Create robust forms with
unprecedented ease

The Alqimi FIT module, or Forms Integration Toolkit, allows you to create robust forms with unprecedented ease and no software development. It supports the following features right out of the box:

  • Choose from our forms catalog group that enables all or a subset of purpose-specific forms to be deployed with a few mouse clicks
  • Submit data to multiple targets simultaneously, including database and web services submissions,
  • Edit your forms to handle updates
  • Use sub-forms to establish many-to-one relationships, and
  • Incorporate dynamic list elements.

With the FIT and DIP modules working together, you get a complete portal application development suite without the traditional development effort.

Alqimi Data Online Transformer (DOT) module — Guarantee the accessibility and security
of your data

The Alqimi DOT module, or Data Online Transformer, solves the four biggest challenges of portal web-services integration:

  • Bandwidth and performance issues associated with loading one or more web-services into a portal page
  • Possible repudiation of the data when disaster occurs due to errors and omissions
  • Availability issues when the serving facility or bandwidth goes down
  • The ability to trend web-services data that requires historical information availability

The DOT consists of an engine that builds a database schema to support the web service schema, and then processes transactions on a schedule or interval; and an adapter that provides the translation to the particular service. By logging all data in a database schema, we essentially create a web service data warehouse to mitigate the four issues stated above. We then use the DIP module to serve the data to the portal.

Alqimi Spreadsheet Integration Portlet (SIP) module — Upload your spreadsheet or CSV file data into configured templates with only two mouse clicks

The Alqimi SIP module, or Spreadsheet Integration Portlet, lets you configure a template to receive data from spreadsheets—even multi-sheet workbooks—in two simple steps:

  • Upload your spreadsheet or CSV file
  • Map the columns to the data table using our mapping interface where you assign a spreadsheet column to each field in your tables or stored procedures.

After that, Alqimi does the hard work. Essentially, the SIP module allows you to originate or take data offline and augment it, then upload it to the mother-ship with just two mouse clicks.

Alqimi Content Authoring Toolkit (CAT) module — Write and then deploy content to multiple pages, or even to other sites

The Alqimi CAT module, or Content Authoring Toolkit, couldn't be easier to use. Simply open the configuration form and start typing into the rich text editor, then save. That content can then be deployed to multiple pages or even syndicated to other sites. The CAT includes a rich-text editor for formatting fonts, adding tables, inserting images and file objects and more. It also has optional tools for more advanced users that want to add JavaScript for more interactive requirements.

Alqimi Services Integration Manager (SIM) module — Connect your web applications to your databases to efficiently retrieve, insert, or update any records

The Alqimi SIM module, or Service Integration Manager, is a powerful database communication tool that solves the portal challenge of communicating directly to the database. Easily configured in a few minutes, the SIM allows you to retrieve, insert, or update any record in the database. The two-way communication and the speed of data accessibility enable your web applications to effectively communicate with its database table records in an efficient and secured method.

The authenticated SIM link may be used by Ajax to retrieve specific data on demand. Since the returned value can be configured to be XML output, the built-in JQuery XML parser will easily extract the data needed. If data needs to be sent, the SIM link can simply be called URL parameters as in POST or GET methods. The SIM can also be used to build your own REST API. Since configuring every SIM only takes a few minutes, in combination with database Stored Procedures each SIM may be considered as a REST API that returns an XML document. Hence, a collection of SIMs may be considered a REST API library for your application.

Alqimi XML Integration Processor (XIP) module — Integrate RSS, ATOM, and other XML-based feeds directly into your portal environment

The Alqimi XIP module or XML Integration Processor, provides a simple means to integrate RSS, ATOM, and other XML-based feeds directly into the Portal environment. The XIP allows an administrator to simply configure a new XIP and paste in an XSLT style sheet. A listener is then placed on a page and is called by a function that requests the XIP Configuration; sends the feed URL, and the div on the page into which the feed combined with the style sheet shall be loaded .

Alqimi Maps Integration Platform (MIP) module — Convert data into visual maps for quicker and more comprehensive understanding

The The Alqimi MIP module , or Maps Integration Platform, supports ESRI rest services, Google Maps, and the Google Earth plugin. The MIP provides a mechanism for mapping of data that is served from the DIP or KML as static or network KML files. It is so simple to use that it requires virtually no knowledge of GIS to create rich mapping applications within the portal environment.

The Data Integration Platform (DIP) provides a configurable wiget-based capability to quickly build rich, data interfaces at the glass.
